I NEVER EXPECTED JODI PICOULT TO WRITE ABOUT TRYING TO SAVE ELEPHANTS FROM THE IVORY TUSK TRADE OR LEARNING HOW “AN ELEPHANT NEVER FORGETS”. PARALLELED WITH ALICE’S OWN BOND WITH HER MOTHER, THE STORY BECAME VERY TOUCHING. REFRESHING TO GET AWAY FROM ALL THE MURDER MYSTERIES FOR A WHILE! THIS ACTUALLY MADE ME PRE-ORDER JODI PICOULT’S LATEST NOVEL LEAVING TIME.
